Join us for desert vibes and good times as we explore the fascinating world of succulents at our new favorite spot, Ruya Coffee & Wine Bar.

We’ll start the evening with an introduction to succulents that will cover everything you’ve ever wanted to know about these curious and colorful plants. You’ll learn tons of fun facts, helpful care tips, propagation techniques, and more. We’ll even teach you how to identify different species and create your own succulent soil mix at home.

Once you’ve learned the secrets to making succulents thrive, you’ll have the chance to get your hands dirty and create your own succulent bowl. We’ll provide all the tools and materials you’ll need to make a custom succulent arrangement that will add life and beauty to your home. Cheers!

Tea & Terrariums

Join us for a green thumb adventure into the enchanting world of terrariums! 

During this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop, we’ll explore the science behind how terrariums work and you’ll learn how to create your own self-sustaining mini ecosystem in a closed glass container.

What’s included in the workshop:

  • An overview of how terrariums work and step-by-step instructions on how to build one by shop owner Amanda Hill

  • A multi-page handout filled with helpful plant care information and tips

  • A glass container, three pixie plants, and all materials needed to build your own terrarium including decorative rocks, figurines, and more

  • Artisanal tea from Blush Coffee and Tea

Monsteras & Mimosas

Start your Sunday with good VIBES and Monstera magic!

If you like big leaves and bubbly, this class is for you. We’ll begin with a brief introduction to the Monstera genus and then we’ll have an in-depth discussion focusing on the iconic Deliciosa species. You’ll learn tons of fun facts, helpful care tips, propagation techniques, and more. Come ready to get your hands dirty— we’ll end the class with everyone potting their own baby monstera to bring home!

  • An overview of Monsteras and their care by shop owner Amanda Hill

  • A multi-page handout filled with Monstera facts and care instructions

  • A small Monstera deliciosa

  • A 4” pot
