Moons & Monsteras is all about GROWTH.

In this workshop, we’ll discuss how you can harness the power of your astrological moon placements to revive your childlike wonder and nurture positive growth in your life. You’ll get to know your moon sign and two special points in the moon’s orbit at the time of your birth, known as your north and south nodes.

Then we’ll transition from personal growth to plant growth as we learn how to care for one of the most popular genus of plants, the Monstera. You’ll pot your own Monstera Deliciosa, learn about how to propagate from cuttings, and go home with the knowledge you need to help your new Monstera baby thrive as you grow together.

What is included in the workshop:

• A deep dive into lunar astrology, by local author and astrologer Lorraine Monteagut

• An overview of Monsteras and their care, by shop owner Amanda Hill

• A baby Monstera Deliciosa, potted in moon phase planter by local artist South & Revay

• A beautiful frameable print of your moon sign and north and south nodes

• Wine/beverages and light snacks

About the instructors:

• Lorraine Monteagut, PhD, is a writer, astrologer and tarot reader. Her recently published book, Brujas: The Magic and Power of Witches of Color, is available down the street from Wild Roots at Tombolo Books!

• Amanda Hill descends from a family of horticulturalists. She founded Wild Roots five years ago to share the magic of plants with her community.
