We’ll kick off this unique workshop experience with a quick astrological forecast. Then you’ll learn about one of the most captivating but misunderstood genera of houseplants: Calatheas. We will answer all your burning calathea questions and review the ideal lighting, watering, potting and fertilizing techniques these so-called divas need to thrive.

After you learn how to properly care for your calatheas, you’ll get to treat yourself to a little self-care. We’ll learn how to “dress" our own candles with anointing oils and herbs. You’ll top your candle with crystals chosen for their association with the energies of love and the heart chakra.

Your calathea and intention candle will make a lovely pair for a special spot in your home dedicated to self-care and the appreciation of natural beauty!

In this workshop, you will create personalized air plant terrariums while learning about your birth charts. We’ll guide you through the different air plants in the shop and the elemental associations of crystals and gemstones, which you can pick and choose from to build a glass globe terrarium that perfectly reflects you.

Wild Roots presents a magical night of Tea & Tarot!

In this workshop, you will learn how to use tarot cards as a visual tool for organizing your thoughts and setting intentions for your life. As you relax in our houseplant jungle and sip on tasty craft tea, we will discuss the underlying themes and symbols that form the framework of the tarot so you can work with them intuitively. You’ll leave with a sample of tea and the knowledge you need to start performing your own tea and tarot rituals at home.

• A take-home study guide to help you continue your tarot reading journey

Moons & Monsteras is all about GROWTH.

In this workshop, we’ll discuss how you can harness the power of your astrological moon placements to revive your childlike wonder and nurture positive growth in your life. You’ll get to know your moon sign and two special points in the moon’s orbit at the time of your birth, known as your north and south nodes.

Then we’ll transition from personal growth to plant growth as we learn how to care for one of the most popular genus of plants, the Monstera. You’ll pot your own Monstera Deliciosa, learn about how to propagate from cuttings, and go home with the knowledge you need to help your new Monstera baby thrive as you grow together.

During this unique experience, you’ll get to create your own “zen bowl” with succulents and crystals while enjoying a relaxing sound bath by local singing bowl artist Christina Arenas of Blue Sage Boutique.
