We’ll kick off this unique workshop experience with a quick astrological forecast. Then you’ll learn about one of the most captivating but misunderstood genera of houseplants: Calatheas. We will answer all your burning calathea questions and review the ideal lighting, watering, potting and fertilizing techniques these so-called divas need to thrive.

After you learn how to properly care for your calatheas, you’ll get to treat yourself to a little self-care. We’ll learn how to “dress" our own candles with anointing oils and herbs. You’ll top your candle with crystals chosen for their association with the energies of love and the heart chakra.

Your calathea and intention candle will make a lovely pair for a special spot in your home dedicated to self-care and the appreciation of natural beauty!

About the instructors:

• Amanda Hill descends from a family of horticulturalists. She founded Wild Roots five years ago to share the magic of plants with her community.
